Adsense placement is not the only way to improve CTR, it is also a question of relevancy. My way of adsense optimization is to supplement adsense with in text ads. I use the combination of adsense and Infolinks since I find it to be the highest paying solution.

Thanks for this wonderful adsense tips. Anyway, I do not know how many times Ive changed my adsense placement until I found the perfect(?) location.

It requires a lot of trial and error

Cheers,

Good tips... I've never had much success with adsense but i'm currently doing a similar test to see what results I get..

I'll also toss this in.. Since most of my sites are niche sites that use phpBay Pro (you can read about on my blog) and I get commission from Ebay.. I would rather not even have adsense because the adsense only gives me a few cents per click where as the Ebay commissions can be several bucks! So it makes more sense to send those people to Ebay rather than having them click on an adsense ad!
