Before you start to blog, there are a few things you need to decide. Firstly decide upon a unique user name and password preferably with numbers, since you will need to sign up with alot of programs(Ill get to this later). So you don’t forget your password take a notebook and write down your login name and password of accounts you are a member of. I know this sounds a bit silly, but just do this. You will be amazed to know how many accounts you would be opening up.

You also need to decide about what you wanna blog about. There are crazy number of bloggers on the web already. If you want to attract readers and make your blog famous, you are going to need to establish your credibility and create interest in the readers. Don’t just blog for the sake of it. Pick a topic that you have lots of experience with, something you are passionate about. Something niche.

Once you have decided about what you want to blog about you need to choose a name for your blog. You also need to decide whether you want to get your own domain name. I would advise you to get your own domain name, if your really serious about blogging. Its not that expensive and makes you look professional.
