You just chose a template, now you need to customize it. First and foremost you need to have a better commenting system, in order to interact and encourage people commenting on your blog. The default commenting system in blogger is not so good and it takes time for a reader to comment. Most readers will bunk the idea of commenting using the default blogger commenting system.

There are many tweak’s but some are difficult to apply, and not full proof. I find intense debate to be the best commenting system for blogger. So just go to intense debate and register, add your blog. Always remember to back up your template, don’t go the widget way but the editing the template way and install intense debate. Only negative of intense debate is you moderate your comments by logging on at intense debate and not at blogger. Disqus is another commenting system you can use.
