So you have decided your domain name and registered your blog. Once your blog has been created you should first and foremost submit it to search engines.

At this point you might want to ask me, why do i submit my blog to search engines, when i have no content or posts. Simply because once you submit your site to search engines, it takes upto 3 weeks for them to review your site. The best way to start submitting your site to search engines is by submitting it to the DMOZ directory. DMOZ will submit it to AOL Search, Google, Netscape Search, Yahoo Search, and hundreds of other sites for you. You can also submit your site to google here , yahoo here, but you dont need to, since submitting it to DMOZ is enough.
