Start adding content to you site. Write quality and unique content, there is no subtitude for that, trust me, if you write quality content it becomes easier for search engines to find you. We will talk about search engine optimization a bit later, where ill tell you how to make your blogs and posts more search engine friendly.
Don’t be disheartened if you dont find much traffic, it takes time and one day you will surely get alot of traffic, but it doesnot happen so fast and all the blogs you see with lots of traffic didn’t do it in a day, so be patient, you still have lots to learn. Make sure you don’t stop posting, try to post a article at least once a day but never skimp on quality, otherwise your readers might just get away. Be enthusiastic. Try and involve your readers by adding polls, contests, debates, but be polite and courteous.

LOL buddy, I myself can’t find it. It costs alot at $520 for the software package and full forum databases.

Hi Everyone,
I have a carpet cleaning business in Houston,TX that was doing pretty good until the economy went bad, and with it my clientele. I have a website for the business but I dont
know what I have to do the get it to show up in a search. Right now it’s somewhere in the yahoo/google netherworld (LOL).
Is there someone on here that can give me some insight or know of anyone that coud give me insight on how I can get my local website on the front
page of a Yahoo or Google search to increase my business without it costing me 5 or 10k $$$? If so please share with me.

TonyB, you need to do Search Engine Optimization. There are many ways you can go about this. You can hire a search engine expert, who will charge you to help you get up in the search result, you can do it yourself by reading about search engine optimization on this site or you can run Google Adwords.
