There is little doubt we are marketing during a recession however, if you are thinking of putting up the shutters and tightening your belt then think again. When the mainstream business world is on it’s knees battling debt and job losses, those in home businesses like network marketing need to ramp up their positive meters because this is like stumbling across a pristine pond full of fish.

You see, while we feel bad for those struggling to hold onto their jobs the reality is, with a little foresight and effort they can quickly turn things around. You have the carrot and better still, can offer network marketing in a brand new light.

So instead of slinking away into a corner until times are good again, you should be thinking of getting your message out there in numbers in front of a hungry targeted crowd of business opportunity seekers.

New Age Network Marketing

Today, network marketing in a recession doesn’t mean going door-to-door looking for prospects. It doesn’t mean harassing friends and family to come take a look at an opportunity. It basically means putting your solution in front of a hungry, targeted audience looking for your message.

Yes, it’s that easy and with the internet now at your disposal, this is a great time to be a network marketer. Instead of getting caught up in all the doom and gloom you need to be proactive as the solutions provider you are.

People are hurting financially right now and it’s not so much a case anymore of wanting to leave their jobs because they hate them, they really can’t because similar job opportunities now are rare. But people are looking for financial stability and creating the type of wealth that will sustain them through any recessional time.

Network marketing has long been a vehicle to achieve exactly that however, old prospecting methods were a great turn off but in the 21st century, and with the internet as a prospecting tool, it’s become a totally different proposition. Now, there really is no need to approach people at the local store, at a party or gathering of relatives.

By producing web properties which educate and train and placing them in front of those wanting to receive your message you could easily build your business with a worldwide downline and never meet anyone of them face-to-face.

Network marketing through a recession should not scare you in fact, it should excite you. Never before has there been an over abundance of prospects than there is right now.

    Nice post! This is definitely what’s keeping me going! At times I get a little disheartened or burnt out.. then I just think about how when things (economy) picks up, hopefully all the hard work and long nights will pay off!
